The objective of the department is to impart knowledge in the field of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education. In addition, the department is dedicated to offering undergraduate teaching programme in the field of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education. The department also participates in conducting NSS camps and awareness camps in the adopted village.
Facilities Available
The department is equipped with a livestock advisory unit, group discussion room, audio-visual lab equipped with various audio-visual aids viz. Projectors, LEDs, Public Address System. The department is also equipped with a multimedia projector and widescreen used for seminars and presentations.
